The existing glazed floor tile was too slippery. To solve this problem we removed all of the tiles by demo hammering. We then used the Blastrac machine to shotblast the concrete substrate surface. Once the floor was completely prepared we applied a 100% solids, two-component epoxy primer. Then we trowelled an epoxy surfacer incorporating aggregate at 3/8" thickness.Re-sloping the floor in some areas was required. |
